The galvanised Ground Anchors are 600mm (2') long and are designed to be attached to the legs of the Play System using the Hexagonal Screws provided. The Play Systems have to be secured to the ground, if you are not using any other method of fixing them down, Ground anchors are essential. They are needed to ensure that your system is safe and will not topple over during heavy use. They need to be dug into the earth and covered with either soil or concrete.
