The Rhine 4 28 is a generously sized log cabin ideal to suit a number of uses, such as a home office, workshop, or home gym. Constructed from 28mm thick interlocking log walls, this log cabin makes a wonderful addition to any garden. Double doors provide easy access for moving items in and out of the cabin and the single opening window lets in plenty of light and ventilation to give this cabin a bright and airy feel. Additional windows and doors are available to order, as well as an optional 1.5m veranda.

Convenience Features:

• approx. 2000mm (6’6”) High internal eaves, giving more interior space. This is the lowest point inside so you’re unlikely to hit your head on the ceiling unless you’re taller than 6’6”.
• Double Door, giving easy access when moving items into and out of the Log Cabin, also allows for letting more fresh air into the cabin if desired during the summer months.
• Single opening window.
• 1100mm (3’6”) (approx) overhanging canopy that creates a shaded area at the front of your cabin, ideal for relaxing outside on a sunny day, or providing you with some shelter from the rain. If you want a smaller overhang the canopy can easily be cut back during cabin assembly.

Construction Features:

• 28mm Thick tongue and grooved interlocking log walls featuring bevelled notches for ease of assembly and a better seal than compared to straight cut notches.
• 19mm Thick tongue and grooved roof and floor boards for a sturdier roof and to prevent bounce in the floor when walking upon it.
• Large 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers to prevent fungal decay and damage by insects, protecting the foundations of your cabin.
• Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm (approx) Roof beams to prevent ‘sagging’, pre-notched ready to slot onto apexes
• All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction.
• Windows and single doors are pre-hung and pre-assembled and simply slot into place.
• Double doors are provided as 6 assembled pieces that slot together then slot into place.

Optional Features:

• Veranda, measuring 1.5m deep, gives an ideal seating area to the front of the cabin. Consists of two banisters and pressure treated flooring and bearers.
• Single window, can be placed in any of the walls except the front.
• Double door, can be placed in any of the walls except the front (Please note that when the door is placed at the side of the cabin it has to be assembled with the door opening inwards, otherwise it catches on the edge of the roof)

Note: The Log Cabin will be delivered on a flat bed van and you will need to unload it by hand, the driver will assist with this. The cabin is made from kiln dried timber and must be covered if it is to be stored outside prior to construction and treatment. This is to prevent moisture/rain from warping and rotting the timber, unless you plan to store the cabin inside, you will need tarpaulins or similar to provide cover for the wood.
