The Rhine 45 Storage is multipurpose log cabin building that gives you two separate rooms, making it ideal for use as a summerhouse and separate storage area.

The Rhine 45 Storage has 45mm walls, giving it better insulation than a 28mm cabin. It is made up of two separate rooms, each with their own external door. This means that the two different rooms can stay completely separate from one another. You can now have an area for storage space and a summerhouse all in one building. It is up to you how you choose to divide the space inside your cabin into the two rooms. The 28mm dividing wall of the Rhine 45 Storage can be placed anywhere inside the log cabin between its front and back wall so that you can easily create a cabin that suits your personal requirements.

The Rhine 45 Storage Log Cabin Kit is supplied with a 28mm dividing wall, a French door, a single solid door on the side for external access to the second room, and an opening window at the front.

Add the optional 1.5m veranda to create the perfect area for relaxing out in the sun or under the shade of your log cabin’s canopy.

Standard Rhine 45 Storage Specification

Over All Size - 4m (13’2”) wide x 4m (13’2”) deep (approx)

Walls - 45mm double tongue and groove interlocking log walls with bevelled notches and an attractive chamfered finish.

• Dividing Wall – 28mm tongue and groove, can be positioned inside the log cabin at any point between the front and back wall. Minimum width of partition is approximately 1m.
• Floor - 19mm tongue and groove floor timbers for a sturdy attractive floor.
• Roof - 19mm tongue and groove roof timbers for a sturdy and attractive roof and ceiling.

(Note: We only use tongue and groove timbers for our floor and roof not OSB sheet timber!)

• Internal Eaves - approx. 2000mm (6’6”) (approx) High, the lowest point inside, allowing you to use all the interior space of your cabin more effectively. (It also means you don’t have to worry about banging your head)
• Canopy – 1.1m (3’6”) (approx.) deep canopy that gives you a shaded and sheltered area outside the front of your cabin.
• French Door – Made with rebated door panels (for an attractive finish), and fitted with a secure lock.
• Single side door – For external access into the second room.
• 1 Window – Made from glass, not Perspex. We use glass as it’s clearer and does not scratch as easy as clear plastic when cleaning it.
• Floor Bearers - 70mm x 70mm Pressure treated floor bearers located underneath the log cabin. The lower aspects of your cabin would be vulnerable to fungal decay, and insect or moisture damage if it was not stood on pressure treated bearers.
• Roof Beams - Heavy duty 140mm x 45mm to prevent ‘sagging’.
• All wood is planed, pre-cut (with the exception of trims), and pre-notched for quick and easy construction.
• Window is pre-assembled ready to simply slot into place.
• French Door is provided in 6 assembled pieces that fit together and then simply slot into place.
• We provide you with all nails and screws that you will need to erect your log cabin.

Lifestyle Options

• Veranda – 1.5m deep (approx), consists of two banisters and pressure treated flooring and bearers. Provides you with the perfect space outside your cabin to relax with a refreshing drink.
• Single Window – additional windows can be fitted in any of the walls except the front for a brighter and airier feel inside your log cabin.
• Double Door – additional doors can be positioned in any of the walls except the front (Please note when fitting the door in the side of the cabin it must be erected with an inward opening to prevent it from catching on the edge of the roof).
• Roof Shingles – Protect the roof of your log cabin with the attractive finishing touch of these high grade roofing shingles.
